Marina Sirtis

If you love Star Trek, then you probably love Marina Sirtis as well. She takes credit for portraying the character of Commander Deanna Troi in Star Trek: The Next Generation. To this day, Sirtis has gained the most recognition in the “Star Trek” series. Even Sirtis herself will tell you that it was the best time of her career, and she’s thrilled to think about it.Despite being disapproved by her parents, she was determined to pursue acting, even secretly auditioning behind their backs.

She was accepted to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and graduated in 1976. In the UK, she appeared in TV series such as Minder, Hazell, Raffles, The Return of Sherlock Holmes, Up the Elephant and Round the Castle, and Who Pays the Ferryman. Marina is also involved in voice acting and one of her most notable characters is Demona from Disney’s Gargoyles. Sirtis hasn’t made many big screen appearances over the past few years.
