Remember The Little Girl Erin Walton in ‘The Waltons’? It was palyed by Mary Beth McDonough who was only 11 years old in that television series. McDonough played the role until the series’ finale in 1981.Other movies she has starred in are “Mortuary” “Funland”.McDonough is not only an American actress, but also a writer.

Inspired by her late co-star, McDonough began writing full time and published her first book, Lessons from the Mountains: What I Learned from Erin Walton, in March 2011. Talking about her self-esteem issues, life on the set of one of TV’s best-loved families, and her health issues, McDonough has used her stories and struggles to help others. I n 2018, her book “Christmas on Honeysuckle Lane” was adapted into the Hallmark Channel film of the same name starring Alicia Witt and Colin Ferguson. McDonough also appeared in the film in a minor supporting role.
