Melissa Gilbert

Another popular face from NBC’s Little House on the Prairie was Melissa Gilbert, who played the second eldest child, Laura Ingalls Wilder. While she was starring in the show, she was also in other TV films like The Miracle Worker and The Diary of Anne Frank. Throughout her career, she appeared in multiple films and TV shows like The Dean Martin Comedy Hour, The Reluctant Astronaut, Christmas Miracle in Caufield, USA, Blood House: The Story of a Mafia Wife, and many more.

In 2012, she participated in dancing with the stars and suffered a mild concussion. Although she recovered and returned to the competition, she still finished fifth. Since then, Melissa Gilbert has retired from acting to focus on her private life with her husband Timothy Busfield, whom she married in 2013. She received legal charges due to tax cheat which caused her a lot of investment money.
