Sally Struthers
During the 1960s and 1970s, Sally Struthers quickly rose to fame because of her performances. Despite her small role in Five Easy Pieces, alongside Jack Nicholson, she was very well received. A few years later, she played the character of a restless wife in The Getaway. Eventually, she landed the role of Gloria Stivic in All in the Family, where she won two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
In the following years, Sally devoted some of her investment money to support her advocacies and became a spokesperson for the Christian Children’s Fund and the International Correspondence School. Although Struthers is not as active as she used to be, she is still acting in television. She took off in a way no less than a shooting star, allowing her to create a legacy that has been shared by many at various points in her life.
