TINA LOUISE – 86 YEARS OLD
Tina Louise’s career started as a model for her family’s candy store at the age of two. After a few years of studying acting, singing, and dancing, she slowly made her way to the entertainment scene. In 1952, her acting debut finally became a reality in the musical revue Two’s Company. She was later included in other Broadway musicals such as John Murray Anderson’s Almanac, The Fifth Season, and Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter?
In 1958, her breakthrough role was handed to her along with the Golden Globe Award for New Star of The Year for the movie God’s Little Acre. However, she will always be remembered as Ginger Grant for her TV credit in the series Gilligan’s Island. Louise now lives in New York City and become a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and a lifetime member of the Actors Studio.
