BARBARA MANDRELL – 72 YEARS OLD

Barbara Mandrell made a name as a hitmaker back in the ‘70s and ‘80s. Music lovers back then know her for her lengthy country hits, like In Times Like These, Years, Crackers, and more. She also got her own primetime TV show that helped her climb the ladder of success, becoming one of the country’s most successful female vocalists of her time. Barbara, however, took her final performance in 1997 and formally said goodbye to the business that made her a renowned celebrity.

After leaving the performing world, though, Barbara continued her acting career and became a part of the TV series Sunset Beach. She did many TV shows and movies soon after, though her last acting credit was in the 2000 show Walker, Texas Ranger. The now-72-year-old star ultimately left Hollywood and reportedly started a new career in a company that helped other people.
