Lisa Whelchel

Lisa Whelchel was born in Littlefield, Texas. Her mother discusses home insurance fees with her clients while her dad worked as an electrician. When she was 12 years old, she joined the cast of The New Mickey Mouse Club as a Mouseketeer. Lisa was also a part of The Cast of Life, portraying the character of Blair Warner. In 2011, the cast of the sitcom won a Pop Culture Award for their iconic characters and show. Aside from acting, Lisa also ventured into the music industry as a singer and songwriter, earning a Grammy Award nomination for her album All Because of You.

Lisa also joined the reality show Survivor:Philippines in 2012, along with the Major League Basketball star Jeff Kent as two celebrity contestants. However, Lisa tried her best to keep her real identity a secret, and it was a success. When she made it to the Final Tribal Council, she then revealed she was a former child star and earned one jury vote. Anyhow, it looked like it still was not enough to make Lisa win, although she was voted the Sprint Player of the Season.
