Phoebe Cates
Phoebe Cates had one of the most beautiful faces during the 1980s when she debuted in Paradise. At an early age, she was already exposed to the life of entertainers and people behind the camera since she was related to a few producers and actors. She started her modeling career when she was only 10 years old and appeared in teen magazines. Catherine also trained as a dancer in the School of American Ballet. However, she fell in love with acting the most and pursued being an actress at 17 years old.
Years later, she became known for her roles in films such as Gremlins and Fast Times at Ridgemont High. She retired from acting in 2005 and devoted her investment money to open her own boutique. Although Phoebe’s reason for retiring is to look after her kids, Owen and Frankie, she may have gotten tired of the industry. She even once said that she disliked the business, despite falling in love with it at first.
