John Popper – Gastric Bypass Surgery

As a blues artist, John Popper has been living the life of a rock and roll superstar. Unfortunately, he is also slowly killing himself. After experiencing massive chest pain, this 52-year-old star was admitted to an LA hospital to which he learned that he has a blocked artery.

Fortunately, he didn’t have a heart attack but he still needed an angioplasty. To avoid experiencing it again, the Blues Traveler frontman got gastric bypass surgery that made him lose almost half of his weight. Popper might need to ask insurance companies for a plan that would suit him.
