At an early age of 21, rapper Lil Nas X already has $4 million of net worth, credits to his talent of rapping, singing, and songwriting. His first album was released in 2019, while his mixtape was out in 2018. His debut single, Old Town Road, was a big hit; it even reached the number one spot of the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the top rank of US R&B/Hip-Hop chart and in Australia, Canada, Denmark, Ireland, Norway, New Zealand, and even the UK.

However, as Old Town Road, which features country star Billy Ray Cyrus, is considered a country song, country fans don’t see as “country enough.” Despite the controversy, the song still made it big. In early 2019, Lil Nas X came out as gay, and the hip-hop community’s minority was less receptive to the news, attacking him on social media.
