Magic Johnson is a big name in the National Basketball Association. In fact, Magic is a hall of fame inductee, being enshrined along with others in the class of 2002. He is considered one of the iconic basketball players there is. But despite being retired, he still has $600 million of net worth. Anyhow, he is also an entrepreneur, probably, making investments here and there. Magic is one of the most influential basketball players on and off the court and it’s no secret that his presence will continue to inspire the sport for many years to come.

Magic started with a humble beginning. He was selected for the first overall player by the Los Angeles Lakers for the 1979 NBA Draft. He was the team’s point guard for 13 seasons. In his rookie season, he earned the NBA Championship and the NBA Finals Most Valuable Player Award. With his time and dedication for his group, he was named the Lakers’ former president of basketball operations.
