As a world champion tennis player, it is no surprise that Serena Williams has $200 million net worth. But she’s not the only one in this business. Her sister, Venus Williams, also tried her luck in the world of tennis at an early age. They were both homeschooled to maximize the amount of time they had to practice. Professional athletes usually drop out of school to pursue a career in sports but Serena seems to have succeeded in juggling both academics and sports when she was younger.

Serena gets credits for being ranked number one in the world five times. She even earned more prize money compared to other female tennis players in history. She got over $70 million in career prize money as of August 2013, making a new record as the highest-earning female tennis player in history. We wouldn’t be surprised if Serena gets inducted into the Hall of Fame in a few years after she retires.
