Mike Tyson used to be one of the most famous and highest-paid athletes in the world during his heyday. However, things changed when he filed for bankruptcy with $23 million of debt in 2003. He lost his $300 million fortune and was only left with $3 million net worth today. Fortunately, he managed to stand up again. Mike often says in interviews that the only reason why he bounced back from bankruptcy was because of his wife and children. The former heavyweight champion is certainly seen in a new light because of the values he gained from his past struggles. We hope he make wise use of his investment money in the future.

In his time, Mike earned at least $430 million in purses and endorsements. Anyhow, he is still known as the “hardest hitter in heavyweight history” and the “most ferocious fighter to step into a professional ring.” Whatever happened, he is still considered a legend by many and a standard for which modern boxers uphold.
