Vince McMahon is a wrestling promoter and executive, football executive, and a businessman with $1.6 billion net worth. He earned most of his fortune, along with his fame, by being the CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Although the WWE doesn’t operate with the same high volume and standard it had, the company still has a relatively large fan base. Vince currently owns 28.7 million shares of WWE’s stock, and the class B shares that control 80 percent of the media company’s voting power and 37 percent of its total outstanding shares. It is without a doubt that Vince holds influence in almost all aspects of the WWE.

In April 2019, Vince’s WWE investments became worth $2.76 billion when it hit an all-time high price of $96 per share. In 2017, he sold 3.34 million shares for about $100 million to fund his plan to re-launch the XFL football league at the time.
