JIM CARREY – MALIBU, $13.95 MILLION

A journey into the entertainment industry can be pretty challenging, but it’s safe to say that Jim Carrey’s rise-to-fame story is nothing short of inspirational. To help with his family’s personal loans, he worked as a janitor and security guard at a nearby factory. At that point, he also found his talent for comedy and placed it to good use when he became a stand-up comedian.

With his and his family’s life is changing for the better, Jim has since found fame for his role in Ace Ventura, The Mask, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Bruce Almighty. Along with his reputation, he also earned quite a fortune, so he spent a portion of it on a lovely beachfront home in Malibu. Bought back in 2002 for $9.75 million, the property features 2,866 square feet worth of living space, five bedrooms, and a spa on its roof deck. After a few years of residency, though, the actor placed it back on the market for a price of $13.95 million.
